Hydrogenated vegetable oil as a fuel
Our truck fleet in Krems has been more environmentally friendly since 01.01.2024.
Together with the city of Krems, we are improving our green footprint.
Until now, our truck fleet has been powered by diesel.
This is now being replaced by hydrogenated vegetable oil, reducing CO2 emissions by 90%.
The great advantage of hydrogenated vegetable oil is that it is obtained from 100% renewable raw materials and the fuel is compatible with existing diesel engines.
The additional production costs incurred are borne by the city of Krems, thus supporting our green philosophy.
