Composting and soil production
Composting and soil production
Our compost and soil products help to improve the soil structure and are therefore the most sensible way of recycling organic waste. We turn your organic waste into sustainable and environmentally friendly products for your garden. We operate several composting plants in Europe in order to always offer you high-quality composts and soils.
Composting
Composting is circular economy at its best, as we return society’s biogenic waste to the cycle of life in the form of high-quality compost. This turns organic waste into high-quality fertilizer which, in addition to its fertilizing effect, also helps to improve soil structure, increase water storage capacity, reduce soil erosion and promote soil life. This organic fertilizer is therefore sustainable, regional and environmentally friendly. Depending on the source material, special additives and production process, all our composts have their own special characteristic advantages for the respective application in addition to these basic properties:
Soil production
Do something good for your garden and nature with our power soils! We deliberately avoid the use of peat in all our products. Instead, we use quality-assured compost made from regional raw materials and nutrient-rich organic waste. This not only protects the moors and ensures healthy, humus-rich soil, it also promotes the regional circular economy. Depending on the area of application of the soil, different composts, sands and other additives are used. Because not all soil is the same, we have the right product for you for every application:
The most modern compost and soil plant in Austria: Erdenreich
With innovative technologies and process engineering, Gneixendorf (Lower Austria) is home to Austria’s most modern compost and soil plant, where products from the region are created for the region. Up to 35,000 tons of biogenic waste are processed into organic compost and high-quality soil and substrates on an area of 33,000m². The most delicate work steps are even carried out indoors. This results in perfect conditions all year round. For example, the hall is equipped with controlled irrigation and a controlled ventilation system. In addition, an AI (artificial intelligence) specially developed for the process scans the contaminant content before delivery.
